Codesign – The Concepting App for Architects – is set for several new features in upcoming releases.
Codesign allows customers to explore, iterate, and create more than ever, taking your concepting to a new dimension.
"This first release of Codesign to the Apple AppStore provides a comprehensive overhaul of the user interface and signals our rebranding to Codesign is now complete," says Campbell Yule, founder of Codesign. "This is a significant milestone for our business, and the release sets the foundations for our upcoming feature releases while also providing a fresh user experience."
As Codesign has evolved over the last three years, the team has looked to improve and re-evaluate the overall user experience constantly. As a result, Codesign introduces several improved and more intuitive workflows, allowing new and existing customers to streamline their designs.
"Previously in the market under the Spaces name, the rebranding has provided a great opportunity to refresh the Codesign experience and enhance it based on what we have learned from our customers," addsYule.
Along with a brand new User Interface and more intuitive workflows, regular releases of Codesign over the upcoming months will deliver an array of new features and enhancements, including:
• Integrated AI
• Modelling enhancements
• Enhanced Site tools
• Additional data tools
• New annotation tools
• Publishing and presentation workflow
• Enhanced BIM integration
"While today marks a significant release, it is more about setting the foundations for the next stage of our journey. We've got a strong roadmap of developments and will continue our three-weekly release cycle to allow our customers to benefit from each new feature immediately",concludes Yule.
Codesign is available for immediate download via the AppleApp Store.
About Codesign *
Codesign is the specialist tool for the conceptual design part of the architectural process.
We allow you the freedom of sketching to visualise concepts, and show the creative possibilities, while also getting valuable information that helps you assess downstream details like volume, sun studies, context, street presence, and material implications. This helps you understand quickly if an idea is feasible and possible, at the stage when you are still testing and exploring ideas.
This allows for ideas to be fully considered, and for more creativity, iteration and potential to be realised. We fit between pen and paper and BIM, bringing together the flexibility and speed of pencil, and the power and data of BIM.
* Codesign was previously known as Spaces
